Our Week

We have enjoyed a quiet week; sticking to our morning schedule of school work and outings and in the afternoons we have been embarking upon a Spring clean throughout the house.
The children on the whole enjoy helping. Nathanael even said this week "I love doing chores!!!"
I just had to write that one down, so I could remind him of it!

 Sisters sharing a book together...

Nathanael has been excited about completing some LegoQuest challenges.
This is challenge number 4, making a two dimensional design out of lego.

The weather has been quite a bit warmer than last week, so we have made the most of it and visited Marple Memorial Park...

and our family day this week was to Merebrook Reservoir near Leek. This is one of our favourite places for a day out. It has a great play park, walks and beautiful views of the reservoir
(and a coffee shop serving delicious flapjack!)

Nathanael playing in the snow drifts at the park...

Other things we have done that have not been photographed...
  • We have started studying the book of Exodus in our Morning Bible Time, which is full of familiar stories the children enjoy.
  • The children had fun participating in a rabbit hunt at Poynton Library and each won a little chocolate egg for their efforts.
  • On Bank Holiday Monday, my mum and I went to a local carboot sale.  I managed to get some very good bargains for the children as I buy most of their clothes, toys and books second hand.

    1. Our children need to keep busy, they don't like to stay still for long! It is a bit of a drama though when we are trying to head out of the door, finding everyones shoes, coats and hats and checking if anyone needs to use the toilet!
