All About Me

We have just started our new project on the Human Body which the children are very excited about as I have lots of fun activities planned, including a field trip to the All About Me Gallery at Eureka!  Today we began by looking closely in the mirror at our faces, and we talked about our hair and eye colour. We measured our height and searched our shoes to find shoe sizes.

The children then drew self portraits of themselves
onto a piece of A3 paper, folded in half to make a book.

Can you guess which Young Hosanna this is?

Inside the folded book, Nathanael and Tabitha wrote some facts, that they thought were important about themselves. These are Nathanael's facts...

We are moving on to find out about the function of the brain this week and to
explore our five senses.

"I will praise you; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are your works; and that my soul knows right well."
Psalm 139:14

  1. What a fun project! Your little ones are so sweet. I thought maybe you would like to have a peek at this link. Some of these poems I use to teach my esl students. We find them easy to learn. We also use them as copy work scripts.

    Blessings.
