History

One morning every week Daddy teaches the older two children History. It is one of their favourite subjects and they really look forward to it.  They have been studying the History of Britain by following the timeline of the Monarchy. Daddy gives a short lesson on the subject they are looking at, illustrating it with photographs, pictures or models.  Then the children write and draw what they have learned in their History books. They often dress up and act out what they have studied and sometimes watch video clips from YouTube and play interactive games.

Some of the things we have done...

Recreating Martin Luther nailing the Ninety-Five Theses on the on the door of the Castle Church of Wittenberg.

Watching a clip about the Jacobite Rebellion.

Tabitha drawing in her History book.
