Christmas Crafts - Nativity Sun Catcher

Nathanael was keen to take down our autumn leaves sun catchers and replace them with something a bit more festive so we decided to make some nativity ones.
 I cut a silhouette out of black paper 

and placed it onto sticky back plastic so that when then the children ripped different coloured tissue paper pieces they were able to stick directly onto the background.

So simple to make, but what a lovely reminder in our kitchen of the true meaning of Christmas. 

"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; 

Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, 

and shall call his name Immanuel."
