Summer School - Part Two

Summer days out have included ... Bramall Hall, a Tudor house,

where the children had the opportunity to try building with wattle and daub.

City airport in Barton, Manchester.

A fantastic time was had here as we watched light aircraft land and take off.

The North West Air Ambulance helicopter landed while we were there and we watched it refuel and have its safety checks from the viewing platform.

In a porta-cabin there was a little museum where the children tried on RAF uniforms and wound the air raid siren. Very exciting and noisy!

At Salford Museum and Art Gallery, wooden dolls were made

and a life long ambition of Nathanael and Daddy was achieved - archery!
